   I am curious to know the origin of a jug my mother was about to throw out.   
      
   It is about 70+ years old.  (not my mother, she'd kill me)   
      
   It has the following formed into the base in this arrangement.   
      
       B   
   S  o   T   
       18   
      
   It has a very poor print round the outside.  It is about 1foot tall,   
   cirumference about 5" at the bottom and 4 1/2" at the top.  Handle on the   
   side.  I think it is pottery.  I have search across the net and don't know   
   what BST or BSoT means.   
      
   Any Clues, I know nothing of antiques and don't want to look a fool by   
   taking it to get valued.
