   It's an old cast iron stand, foot peddle variety with the original wood top   
   with drawers on each side.   
      
   The original sewing machine has been replaced with an electric sewing   
   machine - "precision sewing" and "remington" markings.   
      
   The veneer on the top of the cabinet has some veneer missing and is in bad   
   shape. There is some veneer underneath that I can use to replace the veneer   
   on the top.   
   Refinished it would never look like new, but much cleaner than current.   
      
   Should I refinish the top or only use some wood cleaner and leave it as is?   
   Does this piece have any value either "as is" or refinished?
