   I have a solid tiger maple(not veneer) roll top desk with no markings or   
   makers marks anywhere and I can't find a thing about it on the net. I live   
   out in backwoods West Virginia and the only local antique dealers are   
   clueless as to what it is worth. I was wondering if anyone knows of a piece   
   like it or anything about such a piece?   
      
   I know it came from Pennsylvania and that it dates back to at least the   
   30's.
