   Yes, I can understand that you might not want you or your son to get   
   into trouble with the police/government.   
   I guess you feel it's important to be law-abiding, even though you may   
   disagree with the law or the mechanism by which it is created and   
   enforced, etcetera. Keeps you out of their way and hands.
