Actually they are 3 tulip shaped cut glass fixtures that face down, so the
   bulbs will be visible.
We had the bare bulb type in another home and they were called *Hollywood
   Lights* back then.
Kinda harsh, but gave off beaucoup light.

It came in yesterday and it is BIG!
24"x24" doesn't sound BIG til you see it.
Wife was stunned with the size.
   And its heavy too.
Must be 1/2" thick full ceramic (white - can be painted) with an electric
   heating element spiraled around inside.
Has a small lighted rocker switch in the bottom right corner.
It has standoffs to hold it out from the wall.
I plugged it in immediately and let it run for 4 hours to burn off any
smells and see how it performs.
Its subtle, gets real hot but won't burn you.
I walked into the bathroom after 4 hours and immediately felt warm, but I
couldn't tell from where the heat was coming from.
   Pretty cool. (say what???)
And its only 400 watts and cost $99 + shipping from Texas, which would be
   cheap for you.
