   Thank you.
I once paid you a compliment and you said it was the nicest thing anyone
   ever said to you.
You just paid me back, with the *general optimism about most people*
   statement.
Its true, and notice how it flies in the face of some people in this group
   and elsewhere.

I do have optimism for people in general and its based on my observance of
large numbers of people over a long period of time.
There are some really nasty cretins out there but they are few and far
   between.
I mean, people that were born rude and have somehow managed to stay that
   way.
Then there were born right and then later learned how to be nasty.
   The latter are pretty common.
The *system* facilitates them, and they flourish, to varying degrees.
The free market flushes many of them out into the light of day but many also
thrive in their darkened tunnels, only coming out to harm others when they
think it safe or hiring others to do their dirty work.
I advocate the abolishment of the mechanisms that allows these cretins to
   survive.
We, as a people, should not be hindered unduly by these wrought mechanisms
that seek to equalize, discriminate and harm.
The problem is, the mechanisms have been madeup to seen neccessary to
survival, through fear and temptation, and those 2 emotions are very
   difficult to overcome.
