   You can alter the *bay* spacing so as to *miss* the tunnels.   
   Also, those footings seem small for rigid columns of that size, especially   
   considering the wind load.   
   In your area I suspect windbents would be required at each column and thus   
   even larger footings.   
   Another option is to pound or jet 14" concrete pilings with poured in place   
   concrete caps.
