[continued from previous message]              >> DUNCE: Harry, Liar, according to your email that you attached, you did not       ask for permission: you simply told me you had "selected" some of my poems for       your AYoS, and needed me to correct your proofs so you could meet your       publishing deadline.       >>       >> According to mine, I did not give you permission in writing (since you       hadn't bothered to ask for it), but merely made the corrections you told me       you needed.       >       >       > MMP: Dunce, Dunce, Dunce... you don't send corrections if you don't want       your poems included. You say "You don't have my permission to use them."       > I know you're a Dunce, but no one (the Donkey excepted) is stupid enough to       think you sent me corrections to poems you weren't giving me permission to       publish.                            HarryLiar, even if you could get a judge to rule that those emails were       "permission in writing" (so that you wouldn't call him "stupid"), even though       you never even asked for permission, that doesn't absolve you of the charge of       stealing the poems you        took without asking. Remember, you told me in your email that you planned to       keep them in publication only until the next issue appeared. I asked you to       remove my poems from your chapbook only that turned out a year later to be a       lie; and began calling        you a thief only after you refused to remove them.                     This is a response to the post seen at:       http://www.jlaforums.com/viewtopic.php?p=699302516#699302516              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
