   I turned 18 years old in May,bat tte very end of the school year.   
      
   I was 17 years old at the start of thst school year.   
      
   It says "-Will Dockery / August 20 1976" at the bottom.   
      
   That's when I finished the final draft of the poem.   
      
   I worked on the poem in the early months of 1976, i turned 18 in May, at the   
   very end of the school year, and completed the poem that summer.
