      From: *@eli.users.panix.com              (Drawn for a article in another group, and posted here since it needs       the traffic.)              In the 80's I got a jeweler's driver set from RS which had a hole in       every handle and a pin to slip in and provide leverage. Unfortunately       I've lost or broken most of them since.              ASCII art diagrams for better explanation.              Just the driver:               head ---> p~~~~~~~~~q        \--| |--/        | |        | |        hole in handle -> |.-.|        |`-'|        | |        | |        // //                      // //        | |        '. .'        | |        | |        / /               / /        | |        | |        tip -> '+'              Driver with the pin:               head ---> p~~~~~~~~~q        \--| |--/        | |        | | _________________        pin in the -> ===| |==E_________________|        hold in handle | |        | |        | |        // //                      // //        | |        '. .'        frequent break -> | |        point | |        / /               / /        | |        | |        tip -> '+'              When I lost the pin, I used one of the smaller screwdrivers as a       replacement. That started me down the line of breaking the       screwdrivers.              Elijah       ------       now has a chinese made set with interchangable bits and a large handle              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
