   You are right AND wrong.   
   You are right : There was no big bang.   
   You are WRONG : There IS a Big Bang, and it lasted for the last 14.5   
   billion years and will continue for much longer, possibly for ever.   
      
   1) The Big Bang STARTED about 14.5 billion years ago, NOT trillions of   
   years.   
   2) The Big Bang is an ONGOING process, and it's still happening right now.   
   3) It's not a «very simple minded» theory. That galactic motion is far   
   from easy to detect, let alone measure.   
   4) The theory conforms with what we observe now.   
   5) The theory made several predictions.   
   6) Most of those predictions where later confirmed, like the microwave   
   background radiation.   
   7) The theory have progressed and have been refined over time.
