   BEAUMONT - A 19-year-old was arrested Friday on manslaughter   
   charges in the death of a friend decapitated in a car wreck.   
      
   Jonathan Benitez and a younger teenager were arrested in the   
   wreck Sunday that killed 16-year-old Mandy Le.   
      
   A 14-year-old boy who was in the car at the time of the accident   
   has been charged with tampering with evidence.   
      
   Le, who was riding in the back seat of a tan 2000 Cadillac   
   Escalade, was partially ejected in the crash. She was   
   decapitated by a guy wire that supported a utility pole.   
      
   Benetiz "was driving in an erratic manner by swerving the   
   vehicle from side to side, known as 'Gangster Weaving,'"   
   according to a probable cause affidavit submitted for his arrest.   
      
   He lost control and the SUV left the road and went into the yard   
   of a vacant house. Benetiz hit a tree, backed up and left, the   
   court document said. He continued to drive for about four blocks   
   before stopping, then told a male passenger to remove Le's body   
   from the vehicle, according to the affidavit.   
      
   Earlier, police had said Le's 14-year-old sister was left with   
   the body.   
      
   The driver and the male passenger then fled, the affidavit   
   states.
