   Hey..first of all where did you buy this Atari from? Do you know if it's a   
   PAL or NTSC machine? I'm guessing since you paid in Euros that you need a   
   machine that works in PAL. I'm not sure how you figure out what type it   
   is..maybe it says somewhere on the Atari itself.   
      
   Second, did it come with a little RF switch, that you can switch between TV   
   mode and computer? Make sure this is hooked up and set to Computer.   
      
   I know in the US you need to make sure the TV is also set on either channel   
   3 or channel 4...not sure how it works in Europe.
