   What warms the earth is water.   
      
   Most of the sun's energy falls along the equator. Much   
   of it is absorbed by the water, which is why it's water   
   and not "Ice."   
      
   Ocean currents carry this energy, redistribute it across   
   the earth. This is why the formation of the Circumpolar   
   Current around Antarctica caused it to freeze over, despite   
   is being a lot warmer back then, or why the formation of   
   the Isthmus of Panama, changing ocean currents, kicked off   
   the Quaternary Period and our present Ice Age.   
      
   The planet isn't warm. The climate is not and never has   
   been stagnant. Everything about your precious Gwobull
