   JTEM is obviously a lost cause and I'm frankly surprised you are spending   
   (wasting) as much time on him as you do.  You're trying to teach science to   
   someone with a kindergarten level of education.  Can't be done.   
      
   That said, this seems like as good a time as any for me to lay out (yet   
   again) the truth about global warming (aka, climate change):   
      
       1) That it is real and is happening - obviously true.  Denying it is   
       akin to believing (and preaching) flat earth.  (But see below; it if   
       makes you feel better, why not?)   
      
       2) That we can do anything about it technologically.  Maybe, probably not.   
      
       3) That we can do anything about it politically/socially/economically   
       (i.e., given realities of human nature and behavior).  Definitely not.   
      
   Given #3, both #1 and #2 are ultimately irrelevant.  And so, as I've   
   mentioned earlier, JTEM (and others of his ilk) are actually right to deny   
   it if it makes them feel better.  It doesn't really hurt anything.
