     If you take it another step, those people who were never fans of the   
   original show may actually be MORE likely to give the new one a chance   
   of the Nerd Squad for TOS is screaming about how the new series sucks   
   because its nothing like the old series.  It worked for BSG.  It worked   
   for Dr Who, too.
