How terrible.               There's a distinct difference in being a responsible steward of the       earth and being an evangelist for man-made global warming.               Although Ian was a bit aggressive about it, I certainly feel his       frustration. "Efficient conservative use of limited resources" seems to       mean, to many of the rabid pro GW crowd, that we all should be limited       to one square of toilet paper per crap, one bath/shower per week, and       living in high-density apartment buildings.               The problem, as Ian put it, is that the rabid GW folks don't seem to       factor in the economic dangers of blindly forcing everyone back to a       "simpler, cleaner life." If nobody is buying luxury items anymore       because they are power wasters or polluters or whatever, that means       nobody is building them anymore... There goes millions of low-wage jobs       out the window. Oh, wait, we'll just jack up everyone's taxes and let       them live on welfare forever! Yay!              > Its funny how the antis are also so nasty, scornful, personal, and       > aggressive about it, where as the pro lot happily use calmly presented       > scientific evidence.
