   Hell, it worked for Star Wars.   
   Just like SW EP 1 thru 3 explained how Anniken Skywalker became Darth   
   Vader they're just showing how the Cylons came to be, when they became   
   self aware (with the first successful one Zoe) and how they became   
   monotheistic.
