   You are assuming that decadence means sex in their-the humans or the   
   future humanoid Cylons-view, although Zoe's avatar, the one that is   
   inside the U7 did denounce the violence she saw. From the review of   
   the pilot she was far more disturbed about the violence,the make   
   believe human sacrifice and the machine gunning of people on the   
   Holoband than the sex. The real life Zoe. No, judging from what I   
   have seen so far sex isn't one of the seven deadly sins in either   
   monotheistic or polytheistic Caprica. Maybe on other colonies. As for   
   patriarchialism so far we have seen only one head of the STO, a   
   female one (I know James Marsters is supposed to guest star as a   
   member of the STO but we don't know his exact role yet. Is he above   
   her or below her or equal in the STO rankings?). While Caprican   
   culture is very similar to ours we can't go to far as to attaching   
   our Earth experience to them yet, so monotheism shouldn't be equated   
   with patriarchialism in the Caprican or the other 11 colonies   
   experience yet until we know more. So far their seems to be total   
   equality between the sexes under both belief from what we have seen   
   so far in both "Caprica" and BSG-and neither were sex phobic.

   You mean that the U7 is self aware? No they don't. "Zoe Cylon" is the   
   very first one, in effect Eve. Daniel Greystone has no idea that   
   essentially his daughter is inside.

   Sure, but you are condemning them too much since you seem to think   
   that they should know better now. They don't From their point of view   
   the U7s are just as self aware and sentient as the computer in front   
   of you. That is why people shouldn't judge the computer/robot tech   
   that treated Zoe/U7 like a machine, because it is to him, like how   
   you or I would treat a car or any other piece of equipment, because   
   that is all it is. Do you think your car or your bicycle should be   
   treated with respect like you would treat even a dog? No, because it   
   is not alive and right now, no one should think the U7 or the other   
   up to 999,999 are essentially alive why should they? We know Zoe U7   
   is alive and sentient because we have a POV the humans of Caprica or   
   the other Colonies can't have, and we must remember that when judging   
   them, and so far they are doing what we would do with our TV sets.   
   They have no reason to do otherwise. From their POV the combat robots   
   are no more worthy of respect as our real life predator drones or X-   
   Boxes and there is no possible way one can blame them.
