   Actually, no, you'll find that pre-Christian pagan society was quite   
   male-centric, probably more so, especially Roman and Greek society, the   
   very societies which are supposedly drawn from the same mother culture   
   that the colonies come from.   
      
   Early Christian converts were overwhelmingly female, since Christianity
