   You wont see her reactions much if you focus on the machine aspect of   
   her, like how she was enjoying it. The connection would be there as   
   much seeing an expressionless machine. It seems to be we saw about   
   half the machine and half of the soul so to speak.

   It is to demonstrate the connection to her. He was treating her more   
   or less as a being instead of a thing. You would loose that if you   
   had him looking up into the sky above her head.

   Gemenon has been depicted as the most religious planet in the   
   Colonies. Why would it be strange for the STO to have its home on   
   "The Twins" planet as opposed to say Caprica or Tauron?
