   You see this in classic war movies often. Just two veteran space   
   sailors giving a promising newbie a kick in the ass of encouragement.   
   And they weren't drunk, at leas not to the point that they weren't   
   clear headed. All they did was give her a half good natured half   
   threatening warning to ship up or ship out.
