   I believe you are forgetting that this is NOT the real Zoe.  She is a   
   representation.  Not human.  She is only guessing at what the real Zoe would   
   want.  She doesn't know all of the story.  I believe she is not aware that   
   the human she was based (?) on (I'm not sure how to phrase this) had no idea   
   she was with her boyfriend on a suicide mission.  The real Zoe was as   
   surprised as anyone.  She just knows Zoe wanted to get to Gemenon.
