   Though I hate to side against you, I personally don't see any situation in   
   the Middle East as being possible to "deal with" in under a decade,   
   regardless of who is Commander in Chief.  Cultural instabilities that go   
   back for more than a century have a funny way of hanging around for the long   
   term.   
      
   Still, here's hoping we stay on good terms.
