   It takes about 4 years to build a carrier (unless you're the Soviets,   
   in which case it's never, or the Chinese, in which case the clock is   
   still ticking), about 3 years to build a fast atttack sub and 6 years   
   to build a SSBN.  After you've designed it.  So how long to design and   
   build a battelstar?   
      
   (And about 3 1/2 years to design and build a cruise ship)
