I didn't even bother watching the final season. Personally I thought it
turned to confused nonsense and the makers lost the plot at about season two
or three ... but many other people are highly unhappy with the way it ended.

Another personal opinion: Ron Moore's so-called "Battlestar Galactica" is
   garbage.

I only saw a couple of episodes, but didn't think it was worth watching
(like many other people apparently, since it's been cancelled). Lots of
people call it a Lost-clone, mostly because it has all sorts of on-going
mysteries ... and will also probably now end with no answers.
