   ---
People who didn't follow it properly or forget that some mysteries
were solved and either forgot the answer or missed it the first time,
(like in BSG with another poster's complaint in another post recently
regarding BSG not giving the answer about why they had fertility
farms on Caprica or why Caprica Sharon ran off with Helo. It was
given in the show in the very episodes) while others are unhappy
because they didn't like the supernatural way it did (just like some
didn't like the ending of BSG for that reason) even if the show was
showing paranormal phenomena like ghost all along; and some are
unhappy because their own personal theories didn't pan out; and some
weren't happy about it relying heavily on personal relationships with
one another including romantic ones (even if just like with RDM with
BSG, the Producers of "Lost" repeatedly said over the years that it
was about people and how the problems they were going through
   affected and changed them).

And if you think the producers lost the plot I don't think so, going
back over the show you can see things that started as far back as
season one and build up all the way to the end. Some people misread
the clues but in hindsight the clues to the end were there including
the producers repeatedly saying what the island wasn't They even
produced 13 clip shows that gave answers to the previous season if
   things were clear enough.

That is fine for your opinion, but in the specifics like about
mysteries not getting solved you could be quite wrong.

   ---
Actually a lot of mysteries were solved. We knew exactly who created
the black out. And people are being too simplistic call it a "Lost"
clone merely because it had mysteries. And while yes a lot of
individual mysteries on "Lost" didn't get solved, like who made that
DHARMA air drop (I suspect The Others) or what was the reason as to
why women started dying in pregnancy in the late 1970's and who was
that strange apparition in Jacob's cabin. However, a lot of mysteries
some fans thought wasn't solved in the show were, like hints about
the smoke monster and its nature goes all the way back to season one
and not a recent invention or idea. Or why Eko was killed (he
refused to repent his sins). It was the same in some cases in BSG.

It is the nature of shows like "Lost" and BSG and "Flashforward" that
have unfolding mysteries if only because the show is intended to last
four five, six seven seasons and so can't give away too much too soon
or what would be the point.I myself while wanting mysteries to be
eventually solved, I am not going to expect the writers of "Persons
Unknown" to tell me who is behind all of this for at least the next
four years. That is the nature of these shows. And despite the
complainers, millions of people loved and still love "Lost".
