   It's not just the Olympics. Real shows are always being interrupted by some   
   silly sports event. New Zealand is reportedly meant to be a sports-mad   
   country (doubtful at best), but they still can't be bothered to actually   
   have a free-to-air sports channel for such things.  :-(   
      
   Thankfully the Soccer World Cup is taking place when it's nighttime here, so   
   that isn't interrupting normal shows ... but God help us when the Rugby   
   World Cup arrives here in New Zealand with the iditots are planning to run   
   it on 3 of the 4.5 (one's largely a music videos most of the day)   
   free-to-air channels as well as multiple Sky TV channels.   X-(
