   	"Primeval" was the most recent series I remember seeing   
       this used, and in the case of "Primeval", I think it was also   
       the end of the series, which had been promising to that point.   
      
   	It just seems like a writers' cop-out when the "lets use   
       time travel to take the show in a totally different direction"   
       card is played.
