   This is not good.   
      
   Well, someone brought to my attention that one of my Usenet accounts has   
   been hacked.  I created a backup account on AIOE for reading messages when   
   my primary account would get bogged down for whatever reason.   
      
   Only thing is, AIOE is no-password anonymous-login only.  And it appears   
   that whoever appropriated my account has been doing a lot of hate speech in   
   random newsgroups for some time.   
      
   It's weird.  I see all these things attributed to "me", that I never wrote,   
   and I see the hatred it has spawned in return.  And I know there's not a   
   damn thing I can do to fix the situation.  To these people, whoever   
   misappropriated the account is the actual owner of the identity, not me.  So   
   I am going to have to abandon it altogether.   
      
   I do not know how widespread it is, but the link which was brought to my   
   attention was in a sports group on the other end of the country.  So for   
   what little it's worth, take it with a large grain of salt when something   
   like that appears under my name.  And obviously I am going to have to   
   abandon it to the piece of garbage that took it over.  It looks like the   
   last of this kitty's nine lives has been used up.   
      
   I am not sure exactly what to do next.
