   Another thing that confuses we Yanks is that what we call a season   
   they call a series.  So when you see "series finale" that means "we'll   
   be back after everyone goes on holiday."   
      
   I have seen it, or the new (abomination) L&O:LA, but I'm willing to   
   bet the Brits have done a better job of it.
