In most of the NG I'm in where TV plays a role the general rule is 73
   hours.

In rec.autos.sport.f1.moderated the rule IS 73 hours for all but
"pressing news." "Pressing" means things like "heavy rain forecast
for tomorrow" or "Schumacher seriously hurt in 1st lap accident." But
what you might see is "Congratulations xxx" where they really write
xxx. The rule there is for folks like me who are a) following other
important threads and b) the race is at 6 am or midnight or something
and it's on my DVR until Sunday or Monday evening.

I still have Tuesday's show on tap, but I'm off today (sigh) and will
catch it this afternoon. But NCIS and NCI:LA will get watched tongiht
   since Carol watches those two.
