   OM can be ENTIRELY robomoderated in terms of posting flow, and that's   
   the version that's been discussed the last several rounds, ever since the   
   tags became the focus again.  No new software is required, because the   
   policing is essentially  limited to maintaining a whitelist for the middle   
   or lo-mod view.

   This is irrelevant because the new hierarchy can be run on a single   
   server and web site.  Pay NSPs are already offering such services.  Any   
   web site can effectively be its own server, and tailor itself to carrying   
   certain groups or developing its own "intranet" type managed groups.   
   Giganews is also touting a web interface.  This is where pay NSPs like   
   Giganews, Newsguy and others could distinguish themselves from   
   Google.  The latter has no conventional nntp offering, whereas the   
   NSPs are specialists in that and the successful ones can branch out   
   to the web and the customer base that's left Usenet.   
      
   So change is happening while you and your Bambi RPG club are   
   conducting their pointless sideshow, begging news servers to   
   please, please accept your "checkgroups" and remove groups.   
   You can't even get some to remove literally dead groups.   
      
   Every member of the Bambi Role Playing Game Club and their   
   small season ticket holder base speak for themselves of course.   
   Many have been very helpful.  I just think they have great   
   difficulty seeing how pointless Bambi-ville has become.

   You're getting so good at "mischaracterizing" that the L-word   
   is looming and you may be wearing the label next.  There've   
   been literally dozens of posters who've shown varying degrees   
   of interest in the concept, and 95% of the market is beyond   
   existing users who've become accustomed to the cesspool   
   barrier and noise.   
      
   Steve, I believe it was, said he thought that people would   
   devolve into using the unmoderated view because they can't   
   resist seeing what's being filtered out.  It's a good point and   
   you've helped make it, again!  You have your little RPG club-   
   house there, but twice now you've come out here to play   
   in this discussion.  That's not counting  your post with the   
   Christian-bashing one-liner.

   Again, more Kramer.  The two of you  should get a room at   
   the netkkkop motel.  The META+ tag has been on the thread   
   from the start and it'll remain there on every post I make to   
   the other groups.  If you weren't such a raving hypocrite you   
   could have posted what you think is off-topic to news.groups   
   only.  You decided to crosspost to all five!  But then you set   
   folowups to news.groups.  So you wanted to get your empty   
   Bambi assertion and mischaracterization of OM out there to   
   the much wider readership.  It works for me, because like   
   Kramer it means you have nothing.  There hasn't been any   
   substantive challenge to the concept in weeks now.
