   More likely the reasons include:   
      
       - the networks are too damn lazy to check or store such information,   
      
       - TV Guide and other TV listings are too lazy to double-check   
         network supplied information,   
      
       - the idiots in network management stupidly believe by not marking   
         shows as re-runs the viewers will tune in ... which they will do, for   
   all   
         of two minutes until they realise they've been conned.   
      
   Some shows that switch network like "Home Improvement" and "The Simpsons"   
   are on near-continuous weekday loop or have been cancelled long ago, so it's   
   blindingly obvious the shows will be re-runs.
