   The 13th Tribe was comprised of Skinjob Cylons from Kobol (unlikely they
   called themselves "Cylons", though, as that was a name made up by Eric
   Stoltz); they fled Kobol some one thousand years before the other 12 did;
   they settled a planet they named "Earth" (but it was not *our* Earth),
   created their own Cylons who turned on them and nuked the planet.
   The only survivors were the Final Five.
