   Can't win them all.
Oh, I think I found out of the 6 episodes of Galactica 1980 >shudders at
the title< that I found I liked a good lot of the series. Being
   specific...
1 "Galactica Discovers Earth (aka Galactica: 1980), 3 parts.
    Ok, this was a alright
introduction. I liked how they had a grown up Boxey, gave a solute to
Apollo with the picture, showed the two daggits, and how Dillon was
kinda a Starbuck part two. I did like Troy and Dillon.
    The romp back into the
40's was interesting. I don't mind a World War 2 story and mix in
some BSG into the mix... campy but fun.
   4 "The Super Scouts, Part I" March 16, 1980
   (1980-03-16)
So on this one we get to
see some older Boomer, some recycled but cool photage of the education
ship being attacked, and then we get to have some great awkward moments
as Troy and Dillon try to figure out Earth currency, where they
basically wind up robing a bank without meaning to.
    Fun stuff.
Oh and in this one there
is this cool song the kids sing around the campfire which is neat if you
like the culture of the Galactica fleet.
5 "The Super Scouts, Part II" March 23, 1980
   (1980-03-23)
    Ummm forgot about this
part where they uncover a illegal toxic waste dumping conspiracy. Oh
well. I think this is where I started to kinda loose interest.
   6 "Spaceball" March 30, 1980 (1980-03-30)
   1.6
    Wow... light hearted
   episode. My least favorite.
7 "The Night the Cylons Landed, Part I
   & II" April 13, 1980
    This was a good episode.
Lots of humor, but we not only get to see Cylons again, but a human
looking one. Interesting. And Dillon and Troy have to stop these Cylons
before they notified the rest of the Cylons of the whereabouts of Earth.
   Good stuff.
   9 "Space Croppers" April 27, 1980 (1980-04-27)
    1.9
"The Galactican children help a farmer in financial trouble."
    Have to be honest, when
I was watching the show when I got the Galactica 1980 set, I didn't see
this one so can't honestly say what I think of this one.
   10 "The Return of Starbuck" May 4, 1980 (1980-05-04)
    And here we have
Robinson Crusoe on Mars starring the ever lovable Starbuck. This of
course is like 90% of the reason to get the Galactica 1980 set. I'm
glad that the last glimpse of the original series is with this story.
    (And not "Spaceball".) :P
   Jubal

Lords of Kobol, you actually did a breakdown and review on each Ep!
   wow, i am impressed.
and i LOVE 'robinson crusoe on mars'.
it is one of my ten fave scifi movies.
