In the classic       version those of us who are members of the LDS Church picked up on it right       away. The Government, the 12 Colonies... (Our Quorum of Twelve) and the       "Kobol" reference (the star that they beleive heaven is at).              The New series almost seemed to be a "Pagan" vs "Christian monotheist" religous       culture.              Either way, the themes were there and to me it seemed intriquing that the       machines had a "God".              Talwyn       --- Synchronet 3.16c-Win32 NewsLink 1.103       LiveWire BBS - Louisville, KY - telnet://livewirebbs.ddns.net              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
