   If you are using IE6 with it open click on tools than Internet Options than a   
   window open click on the ADVANCED tab this will give you setting window under   
   the browsing section look for  USE PASSIVE FTP (for firewall & DSL Modem   
   compatibility) if this is check than uncheck and click on apply than click OK   
   than close IE and reopen IE and you should be able to connect to the ftp site.   
   This has nothing to do with my BBS or permissions of my site.
