He is native in c++ and was planning       todo a c++ clone of the pascal code, but upon asking people what they       wantted. They decided it should be in Java, because of the Multiplatform       aspect of Java. Though, Mr. Cory Snow doesn't have a extensive knowlegde       of Java only up till JDE 1.??. (forgot which version), but I think he is       taking time to learn how to program with the newer code base. Also, he       got a new job ( working with .NET) a ways back and that delay'd his       progress on learning and startting. With the fact that he might be really       busy like myself, (work, family, life), and currently can only squeze 5       minutes of personal time on the computer.              Please, take what I have said as hearsay. It is what I have heard second       hand. Except for the new job part which came right from him.              I just like that he got the current rg pascal records released. Which       help'd me update some of my utils with the y2ka upgrade. Personally I am       not putting a time limit on how long it will take, because I came to terms       that the y2ka is going to be the last version. Anything after that is       candy.              bluewolf              ---        * Synchronet * The Whitehouse BBS --- whitehouse.hulds.com --- check it out       free usenet!       --- Synchronet 3.15a-Win32 NewsLink 1.92       Time Warp of the Future BBS - telnet://time.synchro.net:24              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
