   Yes, but what I am talking about is a third party type of utility not   
   something that is hard coded into a bbs package. Sorta like ice edit, but   
   with a options of tossing it into different types of message formats, *.msg   
   (squish), pkt, jam base, hudson, and synchro.

   Just put this on the list, because I saw that someone else requestted the   
   funtion.  Personally I don't like the idea of a user being able to telnet   
   out of a bbs to another one.  It does encourage someone to make fake   
   accounts.  One way I keep track of users with more then one account is to   
   log thier IP.  Which is kind hard with dynamic ip urls, but it does cut   
   down on the multi accounts and cheatting on the ibbs games.

   You brought up a good point. Synchronet has alot of these extra options and   
   features you don't find in other packages.  My question is that since   
   Synchronet is open source and freeware.  Would it be hard to port these   
   options features to a stand alone platform and be able to set them up   
   as third party utilities on different bbs packages.  I ask this, because   
   I don't know c and have very little knowlegde on how to program in java,   
   (baja).
