   Hello there.   
      
   I literally dug through the recesses of the internet to figure out how   
   to connect to Usenet without getting scammed. Now I'm here. I've grown a   
   bit of interest in forum-like spaces. Usenet and bbses (yes I'm aware   
   forums succeed those, not the other way around) seem to fit that.   
      
   Could somebody give me a rundown on BBSes, the software to connect to   
   them, and what you do on them?
