|    Wg2.0, Vircomm TCP/ip, FTP server?    |

From: gangrif@mindless.com              In the past, I've had WG configured such that it served www, ftp, and smtp.       I dont really have a need for www, and smtp, but curently it'd be nice       if i could FTP in, just as sysop (or some other user), to transfer some       files to another machine.       So i went to connect to ftp to see what i had access to, and i found       that it wasnt running, or at least not accessible remotely.       So i took a nice trip through CNF and did not find any options that       allowed me to enable FTP.       The board runs WG2, on DOS, and has VirComm's TCP/IP package installed.        From what i can tell in CNF (and what i remember from when i set the       whole thing up) Vircom takes away the tcp/ip functionality from the WG       and handles it through the Vircom package.       Does this mean that FTP is not available? Or am i just missing someting?              Thanks for any help!       --       In a world with no fences, why do I need Gates?              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
