   well..i managed half-a*ss'd to get my majormud back to a fresh install   
   mode...from when i prev broke it (amazing what you forget in 4yrs of setup   
   down and or 8yrs since you put in majormud )   
      
   anyway....been a  month of trying to contact majormud people on there   
   various merged www sites from majormud to metrobbs to gameport sales to tech   
   to shannon at all the above   
      
   and i even sent a fax (anyway to somebody i got a tone and it took)   
      
   so what is the deal ..did they close up shop and just put up there various   
   web site pages to play with old wg sysops?   
      
   or do they have there spam filters set to max shields?   
      
   anyway ...could someone point me to the 'restricted' file site i think it   
   was on mud central..but if so it is hidden someplace or not linked   
      
   i MAY be able to get in that i am a reg majormud sysop from back in the  day   
   (unlikely) but worth a shot   
      
   of course if anyone knows what happened to shannon from majormud days that   
   too would be helpful   
      
   i just want to get from version H to the version P of majormud....jeez....
