   Thanks, but i'd already found a solution.  Maybe the module was   
   disabled, and thats what caused the problem.  What i ended up doing was   
   copying a few of the vircom module files (those dedicated to FTP) from   
   my test bbs install into the live bbs install.  It added the   
   functionality right in.   
      
   It may have been gone because it was disabled though.  Perhaps that was   
   an easier solution.
