   net.cfg is typically a Novell file, for the vircomm all you basically need is a   
   nic that is capable of using a packet driver for the tcp stack.   
      
   Make sure that your tcpip setting in option 1 matches the interupt vector you   
   set your nic at.  heres my entry:   
      
   c:\3c90xpd.com /I=0x78   
      
   This uses a 3com nic with an interupt vector of 78.  The 3c90xpd.com file is   
   the   
   packet driver program.
