   This is already a thing in A48! :)   
      
    + MUTIL ImportEchoMail now has a "dos_filename" option that when set to true   
      will generate JAM base filenames in the DOS 8.3 format during auto create.   
      
   It doesn't do a random name though, it shortens the name and then finds a   
   unique value by changing only what it has to.  The result is the same though,   
   unique 8.3 names if you don't like long filenames.
