   hello,   
      
   it would seem mutil in it's PackMessageBases step is destroying user message   
   pointers. seems to do it rather arbitrarily.   
      
   perhaps i have a mismatch somewhere, because the default message target is   
   'UNUSED' instead of 'All' ..   
      
   any ideas?
