   [lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover] Laying hands on the sick to   
   heal and to bless men is a practice of both Testaments (Gen 48:14; Num 8:10;   
   Num 27:23; Deu 34:9; Mat 19:15; Mrk 5:23; Mrk 6:2, Mrk 6:5; Luk 4:40; Luk   
   13:13; Act 5:12; Act 13:3; Act 14:3; Act 19:11; Act 28:8; 1Ti 4:14; 2Ti 1:6;   
   Heb 6:2).   
      
   Many are weak because of the lack of teaching and understanding of these   
   things. They claim that everything must be instantaneous or visible to the   
   eye and also falsely claim that the Lord is no longer in the business of   
   healing, signs, wonders, and miracles, etc., etc.   
      
   Yet here is an obvious verse that speaks of recovery, which is not only a   
   natural even of the body to heal but also a spiritual one. Take for instance   
   a blood disease, or cancer, etc. For which many cancers are not curable,   
   other than cutting off the offending part of the body in the hopes that it   
   has not taken root elswhere in the body.   
      
   Since Jesus promised healing both to the Jew in the Old Covenant, as well as   
   in the New Covenant, for by His stripes we were healed. Just like by his   
   death and resurrection we were saved, by faith and continued faith in him, so   
   it is with believing for healing when one follows the word of God.   
      
   IOW, don’t allow Satan, once you have followed the word of God to steal   
   your healing from you because of some phony “christian” telling you that   
   healing is not for you. Your faith is built up, day by day, from faith   
   experience to faith experience with the result that one will become an   
   overcomer in Christ Jesus.   
      
   Want to see how satan the thief steals from you? Read the parable of the   
   seeds in Mathew, this is true for all things spiritual. It is a caution to   
   the wise, as well as an understanding taught by Jesus on wy some fall away.
