Easter is determined by a fixed ecclesiastical rule called the Computes.

   1. Easter Rule: Easter is observed on the first Sunday after the
ecclesiastical full moon that falls on or after March 21. This
"ecclesiastical full moon" is not the astronomical full moon but is a
date determined by a church-adopted method based on tables created
   centuries ago.

   2. March 21 Fixed Date: The Church fixed March 21 as the
*ecclesiastical* vernal equinox, regardless of the actual astronomical
equinox. Even if the real equinox happens on March 19 or 20, the
   calculation uses March 21.

   3. Ecclesiastical Full Moon: The full moon used for calculating Easter
is not tied to real-time moon phases or time zones. The Church's
computus (calculation) tables establish these full moon dates, which may
differ from the actual full moon by one or two days.

   4. Global Consistency: The computus provides a universal date for the
ecclesiastical full moon. It is not localized by time zones. So the
Church does not recalculate Easter based on each region's local full
   moon time.

   5. 2025 Example: In 2025, the ecclesiastical full moon falls on Sunday,
April 13. Therefore, Easter is the following Sunday, April 20. This
remains the case whether the actual full moon in North America happens
slightly earlier on April 12. The Church calendar follows the
ecclesiastical moon, not the real one.

   Conclusion:

Easter is not calculated using the astronomical full moon in any
particular region. It follows the ecclesiastical approximation,
established centuries ago for liturgical consistency across the global
Church. Therefore, Easter in 2025 falls on April 20, and the calculation
is not adjusted based on North American moon visibility or regional time
   differences.

Have you heard the good news Christ died for our sins (†), and God
   raised Him from the dead?

That Christ died for our sins shows we're sinners who deserve the death
penalty. That God raised Him from the dead shows Christ's death
satisfied God's righteous demands against our sin (Romans 3:25; 1 John
2:1-2). This means God can now remain just, while forgiving you of your
sins, and saving you from eternal damnation.

On the basis of Christ's death and resurrection for our sins, call on
the name of the Lord to save you: "For 'everyone who calls on the name
of the Lord will be saved'" (Romans 10:13, ESV).
