XPost: alt.atheism, soc.culture.israel, alt.fan.rush-limbaugh       XPost: can.politics       From: void@invalid.not              by David Sims              THE ANCIENT HEBREW conquest of Canaan began with Moses, about 1400 BC,       and it was carried out by the method of serial genocide. The Hebrews       would surround each little tribe of native Canaanites, one at a time,       and kill them all: men, women, children — and sometimes sacrifice the       babies in the furnace-idols of Moloch.              See the Bible, chapter 31 in the book of Numbers, for an example:              The Midianites probably figured that they had gotten off easy when the       Hebrews left them with only some torture marks and their raped women.       But apparently at least one of the Midianite women had an STD when a       Hebrew warrior raped her, and the infection began to spread among the       Hebrews.              Moses, of course, and in true Jewish fashion, set all of the blame for       the outbreak of loathsome disease squarely on the shoulders of the       Midianites. He ordered his army to go back and slaughter them all. So       the Hebrew army went back to the Midianite land and started killing.       But the Hebrew general was soft-hearted and, instead of killing the       women and children, he rounded them up like cattle and started       marching them back toward the Hebrew camp.              Moses either got word from a scout or saw them coming, and he went out       to meet the army. When he saw the captives, he became very angry. I’ll       paraphrase what he said, according to the Jews’ own words in the Bible       (and feel free to check my work): “What! Have you saved the women and       children alive! I told you to kill everybody! Now, therefore, kill all       of the women who are not virgins, and also kill all of the little       boys. But, umm, you can keep alive the little virgin girls for       raping.”              So the acquisition of Palestine/Canaan by the ancient Hebrews began       3400 years ago. However:              Recent genetic studies indicate that Palestinians have significant DNA       derived from Canaanites. A 2020 study found that Palestinians, along       with other Levantine groups, derive approximately 81-87% of their       ancestry from Bronze Age Levantines, which includes Canaanites and       Kura-Araxes culture impact. Additionally, a 2021 study by the New York       Genome Center confirmed that the predominant component of the DNA of       modern Palestinians matches that of Bronze Age Palestinian Canaanites.       Palestinian Muslims are on average 70%-75% Levantine with DNA derived       from Canaanites. Palestinian Christians have even higher percentages,       averaging 90% Levantine DNA derived from Canaanites. Both groups also       show admixture with peninsular Arabs, East Africans, and Bronze Age       Europeans, though the extent of European admixture is generally lower       in Palestinians compared to some Jewish groups.              The Kura-Araxes culture (also named Kur-Araz culture, Mtkvari-Araxes       culture, Early Transcaucasian culture, Shengavitian culture) was an       archaeological culture that existed from about 4000 BC until about       2000 BC.              The ancestors of the Palestinians have the prior claim on the land of       Palestine/Canaan. Their history in the region goes back 6000 years,       which is considerably earlier (2600 years earlier) than the earliest       claim that the Jews can make. So, if ownership claims go by temporal       precedence, the Palestinians win.              --- SoupGate-DOS v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
